Dear Charles,
I have a little disconnected information on the Dillehay line (my
info
spells it Delahay). Mary Louise Donnelly in "Colonial Settlers, St.
Clements
Bay" lists John Delahay married to Winifred Wheatley d/o (Francis
(1750),
Francis, John (1690), John (1659), John (1610)). This couple had at
least
two children. Ann Delahay was christened in 1771 and her sister
Winifred two
years later.
Linda Reno sent me a gedcom some time ago which contained a
Thomas G.
Delahay (b. 1770, d. 1814-20) who married Nancy "Ann" Raley
10/28/1805. She was a d/o Bennet Raley Jr. (his will - Orphan court
records). Thomas may
possibly be a son of Winifred and John but I have no proof of this.
His
birth date one year before Ann is suggestive.
I have one other reference which is unsubstantiated. There is a
Mary
Delahay who married Joseph Blandford (1805 - 1877) on 11/5/1833 in
Washington County, Kentucky.
I hope this will help somewhat. I have no close connection to the
Delahay line. What I have was obtained because of my research on
Wheatleys.
In spite of everything, I still have not been able to find out who
were the
parents of my direct ancestor Henrietta Wheatley who married John
Baptist
Bowles about 1787 in St. Mary's County Maryland.
If you ever come across anything which might help with her I
would very
much appreciate hearing about it.

Regards,

Don
