Obadiah later baptized on June 12, 1803. Sarah Ann on August 5, 1809. Hannah on April 12, 1813. Revolutionary War Morris enlisted on November 21, 1776 in Captain Daniel Roe's Company in Second Regiment of the Line under Col. James Clinton. Also, enlisting were his brothers Silas and Reuben. He shifted to the Eighth Company Fourth Regiment under Col. Henry Livingston. Became Corporal in March of 1779. Reduced (discharged) in January of 1782. Received $96.00 annual pension allowance (Survivor's Pension Application #44595) from June 11, 1818 while residing in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Reuben (#544594) and Moses also received pensions.
