1647: Juliana, and her brother, Luke as well as other followers of Calvert sought refuge in VA during Claiborn's Rebellion. Juliana's brother, Luke demanded land on 10 Mar 1651 for transporting Juliana and himself into the Province of Maryland after they had been forced out during Claiborne's Rebellion in 1647. (SOURCE: Maryland Patents, Liber 1, ff. 167-168, Hall of Records, Annapolis, MD.) 1640: Julianna Gardiner, was one of seven people whom Richard Gardiner, Sr. demanded 600 acres of land 31 Mar 1640 for the transportation of these people into Maryland.
