Charles 7 yrs. 1860: Blenheim,Schoharie,NY Rufus R. Conrow 33 yrs. wife Phebe J. 32 yrs. Stephen 8 yrs. Martha 1 yrs. 1860: Sumit,Schoharie,NY Peter Conroe 37 yrs. wife Hester M. 33 yrs. I have some in 1880 and later and alot in different Counties. there where only two in in the 1790 census William and Darling and both of them where in Dutchess County. I have just started in NY have been working on them mostly in NJ and Ohio I need to do NY and PA. There where some conroe"s that came from Ireland, I have no conrow's in Schoharie County in 1790,1800,1810,1820,1830, and 1840. This doesn't mean they wasn't there but they were not in the census records. I may be going back to Salt Lake City in Jan. or Feb. and look up more in NY. Dec.1 1790, married to Betsy the only child I have with them is Samuel b. Aug 21, 1813. But that doesn't mean that there are no other children, I am just getting started in NY. I think the first two Conrow's in NY where William and Darling I am finding a little information on William but Darling is a different story. William was born in NJ Middletown in Monmouth Co. April 16 1756 and died in Livingston Co. NY in oct 5 1833, his wifes name is Ruth Ann born abt 1884 and died Jan 16 1856. I have three sons but there could be more the ones I have are William I., John W. and Stephen. I have a Jacob b. abt 1806 in NY and his wifes name was Jane b. abt 1817. The scource I have for most of my PROPER line was "Proper Family History" by Lewis G. Proper published 1996, a 500+ page volume of the PROPER family lines Searching that for your Issac CONRO I found this text : " Eva PROPER dau of Zacharias PROPER and Catharine WILSON of Livingston Manor, Albany co, (now Columbia co,) NY:bapt. 17 Apr 1774; m. 14 Jul 1789, Bangall, Dutchess co, NY, Isacc CONRO " and follows is a list of their children. Jacob, bapt 01 Dec 1790 Catharina bapt 02 Feb 1794 Jane bapt 25 Apr 1796 David bapt 25 May 1798 John bapt 29 May 1800 Peter William bapt 14 Jun 1811 each baptisim was noted and each was from a different location in New York state This is as far down the line this publication goes on this family but it goes back with the siblings, parents and ancestors of Eva PROPER more extensivly.
